We clearly love to make things, especially when we cannot find exactly what we want in a store. Early this year, we were both on a search for a cute key chain, but had trouble finding one we liked. We decided to make some key chains using toy animals and paint. These key chains could not be simpler to make and are easy to find in the bottom of your purse!
- Toy Animals
- Martha Stewart craft paint
- Key rings
- Small screw eye hooks
- Beacon 3 in 1 Craft Glue
- Painter’s tape
Use the screw eye hook to make a hole in the top of the toy animal.
Put glue on the the bottom of the screw eye hook and screw it into the toy animal.
Cover the screw eye hook in painter’s tape and paint the animal. It may require several coats. Once the paint is dry remove the painter’s tape and attach the key ring!
