things jane likes, no. 17

Next Sunday is Father’s Day and we spent a little time this weekend putting together a few last minute ideas for Dad that we will share with you on the blog this week, but we also wanted to give you a few more ideas in this week’s things jane likes. We have a waffle recipe and two great DIYs that can all be put together in time for Father’s Day. We also found a few things for your home and the beach that we could not help but include. Hope this list gets your week of to a good start!

1. Men are so hard to shop for and that is why we love this Father’s Day sampler box idea. Whether you go all out with coordinated paper and labels or just put a few fun goodies in a box you are sure to have a happy Dad on Father’s Day!

2. What Dad would not want a giant Father’s Day card?!?! We love this one by Oh Happy Day because you can customize it for your Dad’s favorite things and it will make any Dad feel extra special.

3. Jenni Kayne recently introduced a new collection for Pottery Barn Kids; it’s girly, chic and so much cooler than the average kids’ decor. We especially love the butterflies, the pendant lamps and the Ripley Kilim Rug.

4. We love affordable art, and these bright an cheery free printables that we found on Tell Love and Chocolate are the perfect way to add a pop of color to any space.

5. Who knew a beach towel came in any shape other than a rectangle! We love Monica Hibbs Playa beach towel; everything about it is so fresh: the fringe, the black and white geometric print and of course the fun new shape!

6. Lovely Indeed’s vanilla waffles with chocolate drizzle will make the perfect Father’s Day breakfast. They look so delicious, we may be sampling them before Sunday!

Happy Monday!
